Product details

The Hayward FDXLBPK1930 is the bypass cartridge kit for the Universal H-Series Low NOx pool heaters, covering the H150FD, H200FD, H250FD, H300FD, H350FD and H400FD.

What the bypass does

Not all of the water reaching the heater is meant to pass through the heat exchanger. The bypass splits the flow so the exchanger sees the rate it was designed around, whatever the pump is doing. Get that wrong and the heater either runs too hot through the exchanger or never reaches temperature at all.

Ordering it
