When to use it

The header is the manifold that carries pool water across the heat exchanger, and its hardware is what you take apart any time the header comes off. After years of heat, pool chemistry and thermal cycling, that hardware often will not come back tight or evenly loaded. Fitting the kit rather than reusing corroded originals is what keeps the reassembled header sealed.
