The Hayward HAXTST1930 is the genuine thermostat kit for H-Series and induced draft pool heaters, supplied with the control knob.

What the thermostat does

The thermostat is the part that decides when the heater fires and when it stops. Every other component in the heater is downstream of that decision, which is why a failing thermostat looks like so many other problems: a pool that will not reach temperature, a heater that overshoots the set point, or one that simply never calls for heat while the gas, the water flow and the ignition all check out fine.

What is included

The kit comes with the knob, so a control that has been fought with over the years and lost its knob is covered by the same part. Confirm your heater model against the H-Series and induced draft fitment before ordering, and follow Hayward service procedure when opening the control panel.
