Product details

The Hayward HAXTRK1930 is the pilot tube kit for the H Series and H Series ED1 pool heaters, in the 150 through 400 model sizes. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied as a kit.

What the pilot tube does

The pilot tube is the small gas line that runs from the gas valve to the pilot burner. The pilot is what lights the main burners, so if that line is crimped, corroded or leaking, the heater either fails to light or lights and drops out again. It is one of the first things a technician looks at on a heater that will not stay running.

Fitting

This part sits on the gas train. It should be installed and leak tested by someone licensed to work on gas appliances, not fitted and left unchecked.
