Product details
The Hayward IDXBLG1930 is the blower gasket for H-Series above ground pool heaters. It is the genuine Hayward part.
Where it sits
The gasket is the seal between the blower and the heater body. That joint has to be airtight for the burner to get the air it expects. A gasket that has hardened, torn or been reused after being crushed lets air in at the wrong place, and the result is poor combustion or a heater that lights and then drops out.
When to fit one
Order a gasket any time the blower is coming off, whether or not the old one looks damaged. Once a gasket has been compressed it has taken its set, and putting it back is how a straightforward blower job turns into a second trip.
