Product details

The Hayward IDXBLS1930 is the genuine blower switch for the H100 above ground induced draft pool heater in the H-Series line.

What it does

An induced draft heater pulls combustion air through the heat exchanger with a blower rather than relying on natural draft. Before the control will let gas flow and the burner light, it needs proof that the blower is actually moving air. The blower switch provides that proof. It is a safety interlock, which is why a fault here stops the heater from firing at all rather than simply reducing performance.

Typical symptom

The usual complaint is a heater whose blower starts normally and then nothing further happens: no ignition attempt, no burner. When the blower itself is clearly running, the switch that confirms draft, along with its tubing and its wiring, is the sensible place to look.

H-Series covers both above ground and in ground heaters, and they do not share every part. This switch is the above ground part, so check your heater model against it before ordering.
