The Hayward IDXL2VPS1930 is the air pressure switch for Low NOx H-Series pool heaters built after 09/04. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What it does
An air pressure switch is a safety interlock. It has to prove the correct air condition inside the heater before the control board will let the unit go through ignition. When the switch fails, that proof never arrives, and a heater that is otherwise in good order simply will not light.
Getting the right one
Two things narrow this part down. It is the Low NOx version, which is a different build from the standard H-Series, and it is for heaters made after 09/04. Both are worth checking on the rating plate before you order, because the wrong switch either will not mount or will not hold the right setpoint.
