Product details

The Hayward Goldline P-KIT is the plumbing kit for an Aqua Rite salt system: the flow switch and the pair of unions that put a Turbo Cell into the return line. It is the genuine Hayward part, number P-KIT.

Why the kit exists

A Hayward Pro Logic control can run salt chlorination, but it does not ship with the parts to plumb a cell. Hayward requires this kit when salt chlorination is added to a Pro Logic. The flow switch proves to the control that water is moving before the cell is powered, and the unions hold the cell in the pipe while letting it come out for inspection and acid cleaning.

What is not in the box

The Turbo Cell itself is sold separately. If you already have unions on your plumbing and only need the switch, Hayward also sells the flow switch on its own with a 15 ft cable.

What is in the kit?
The flow switch and the unions that plumb a Hayward Turbo Cell into the return line. It is the plumbing side of an Aqua Rite installation.
When do I need it?
When you add salt chlorination to a Hayward Pro Logic control. The Pro Logic needs a flow switch to prove water is moving and the cell needs unions to mount in the pipe, and this kit supplies both.
Does it include the salt cell?
No. The Turbo Cell is separate. This is the flow switch and union kit only.
I only need the flow switch. Is there a smaller option?
Yes. Hayward sells the flow switch on its own as the OEM flow switch kit with a 15 ft cable. Choose the P-KIT when you also need the unions.
