Hayward Flow Switch with Unions, Aquarite Plumbing Kit

The Hayward Goldline P-KIT is the plumbing kit for an Aqua Rite salt system: the flow switch and the pair of unions that put a Turbo Cell into the return line. It is the genuine Hayward part, number P-KIT.

Why the kit exists

A Hayward Pro Logic control can run salt chlorination, but it does not ship with the parts to plumb a cell. Hayward requires this kit when salt chlorination is added to a Pro Logic. The flow switch proves to the control that water is moving before the cell is powered, and the unions hold the cell in the pipe while letting it come out for inspection and acid cleaning.

What is not in the box

The Turbo Cell itself is sold separately. If you already have unions on your plumbing and only need the switch, Hayward also sells the flow switch on its own with a 15 ft cable.
