The Hayward GLX-FLO-T is the replacement tee for the flow switch on Hayward salt chlorine generator systems. It is the genuine part, also listed by Hayward as the flow cell tee.

What the tee is for

The flow switch has to sit in the water to do its job. The tee is the fitting plumbed into the line that holds it there, in the path of the water, so the switch can report whether flow is present and the system knows when it is safe to generate chlorine.

Tee or kit

This listing is the tee alone, which is what you want when the switch itself is still good and the fitting is what has cracked, started weeping or lost its threads. If both need replacing, Hayward also sells flow switch kits that pair a switch and a 15 foot cable with the PVC tee.

Does this include the flow switch?
No. This is the tee on its own. Hayward sells flow switch kits that include a switch with a 15 foot cable and the PVC tee together.
