Product details

The Pentair 350444 is the on/off motor switch assembly for the Dynamo aboveground swimming pool pump. It is the genuine Pentair part, supplied as a complete assembly rather than a bare switch.

When to change it

The switch takes the full starting load every time the pump is turned on, and it is one of the first parts on an aboveground pump to give up. A pump that will not start, that will not shut off, or that only runs when the switch is held at a certain point, is usually telling you the contacts inside are burnt rather than that the motor is finished.

Before you work on it

Kill the power at the breaker before touching the switch, and confirm the supply is dead at the motor. Replacing the assembly is straightforward once the motor is safely isolated.
