The Pentair MegaTherm MT1670IN09CBPC is a high performance indoor commercial pool heater rated at 1670K BTU on natural gas. It is supplied pump mounted and uses a copper heat exchanger.

Where it belongs

This is commercial equipment. An output of 1670K BTU is aimed at hotel, municipal, school and club pools where the water volume and the turnover rate put a load on the heater that a residential unit cannot carry. It is the indoor version, so it is intended for installation inside a mechanical room with the venting and combustion air the installation requires.
