The Pentair Prowler 920 is a robotic cleaner for inground pools that handles the floor, the walls and the tile line without help from the pool pump. Set it in the water, plug in the power supply and start it.

Scrubbing

Two brushes work the surface. The active brush turns at twice the speed of the tracks, which is what breaks algae film and packed dirt loose rather than rolling over it. The cleaner then vacuums the debris into its own basket, so the pool filter never sees it.

Filtration you can choose

The basket loads from the top of the unit, so there is no turning the robot over to get at it. Two cartridge grades are available: a fine cartridge for pollen, dust and silt, and a large debris cartridge for leaves and twigs. Pick whichever matches the season, rinse it with a hose and drop it back in.

Set the schedule

A built in weekly timer runs the cleaner on the days you choose, every day if you like, with no further attention. A single LED light on the unit and a filtration level setting are the only controls to learn.
