Product details

The Hayward AX6000HAV is the complete rigid pressure hose for the Phantom, Phantom Turbo, Viio Turbo and Viper pool cleaners. It is supplied in white as a full hose box rather than as separate sections, and it is the genuine Hayward part.

Why the hose matters

A pressure side cleaner is engineered around its hose. The length sets how much of the pool the cleaner can reach, and the stiffness of the rigid sections is what makes the cleaner track the way it was designed to instead of doubling back on itself. Once the hose is kinked, split or has been cut short, no adjustment to the cleaner will restore the coverage.

What you get

The complete hose, ready to fit in place of the old run. If the cleaner is missing whole areas of the pool, moving slowly, or leaking flow before it ever reaches the head, replacing the full hose is the fix.

Pressure cleaners are set up around a hose of a specific length and stiffness. Once sections are kinked, cracked or have been trimmed back, the cleaner stops reaching parts of the pool, and patching individual lengths rarely gets the pattern back.
