Poolife AlgaeBan II, part number 62069, is a long lasting algaecide for green, black and mustard algae that only needs to be applied once every 3 months as a preventive dose.

What it does

AlgaeBan II helps prevent algae outbreaks and aids in removing algae that has already appeared in the pool, including green, black and mustard algae.

How to use it

For prevention, add 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 3 months. For visible algae growth, use 16 fl oz per 10,000 gallons. For a severe algae outbreak, use 32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons, and once control is regained, resume the regular preventive dose. Pool water pH should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6, adjusted down to 7.2 when treating severe algae, and the filtration system should be running properly throughout treatment.
