Product details

The Jandy R0395500 is the tank drain adapter for the DEL Series DE filters, models DEL48 and DEL60, and it comes with its O-ring.

What it does

The drain sits at the lowest point of the filter tank. It is what you open to empty the filter for service or before a freeze, and what has to seal cleanly the rest of the year. That means it gets worked, and the O-ring in it takes a compression cycle every time.

The symptom to watch for

A steady weep from the base of the filter is almost always the drain adapter or the O-ring in it, not a cracked tank. Replacing the adapter and seal together removes the guesswork, which is why the two are supplied as one part.
