Product details

The DEL Ozone UO3 is a universal ozonator supplied as a kit under CMP part number 51002-022-107. It arrives with the UO3-JJ unit, 5 feet of tubing, mounting hardware, a cord and a 1/8 by 1/4 check valve.

What an ozonator does

Ozone is generated in the unit and injected into the water line, where it oxidizes contaminants before they load up the sanitizer. The result is less demand on chlorine or bromine and cleaner feeling water, with the ozonator running alongside the existing sanitation rather than replacing it.

Two things to confirm

The source describes the unit in two ways on two points, so both are carried here. The voltage appears as 15V/230V in one line and as a universal 115V/230V unit elsewhere. The cord is called a Mini Cord in one place and a J&J cord plug type in another. Check the label on the unit and the socket on your spa pack before wiring it in.

The check valve is not optional

The included 1/8 by 1/4 check valve keeps water from siphoning back through the tubing into the ozonator. Fit it whenever the unit is installed, and replace it if it ever sticks open.
