The AquaStar U3000 Ultimate Ozone is a corona discharge ozone kit for residential pools up to 40K gallons. Ozone works alongside your sanitizer rather than replacing it, cutting the chemical load the water has to carry.
Corona discharge
Corona discharge is the higher output route to ozone. It produces more ozone from the same footprint than a UV lamp does, and there is no lamp to lose brightness partway through a season.
A complete kit
The package is set up to be installed rather than supplemented. Along with the Ultimate Ozone unit itself, it includes the diffuser stone that puts the ozone into the water and 100 feet of 1/4 ozone compatible tubing, which covers the run from the unit to the point of injection on most equipment pads. Ordinary vinyl tubing does not survive ozone, so having the right tubing in the box matters.
Power
