Paramount Ultra UV2 Water Sanitizer, 120V, 2 Lamp

The Paramount Ultra UV2 adds a layer of sanitation that chlorine and salt chlorine generators cannot provide on their own. Pool water circulates through the chamber, where two UV-C lamps inactivate 99.9% of micro-organisms, including cryptosporidium, giardia and algae that resist chlorine. There are no harmful by-products, and because UV takes on the hard cases, the pool needs noticeably less chlorine to hold an adequate residual. A minimum residual of chlorine or bromine should still be maintained at all times.

Installation and operation

Multi-directional, quick release piping connections make the unit straightforward to plumb into a new build or an existing pad. Operation is automatic: a pressure switch senses flow and lights the lamps whenever the pump is running. A 360 degree direct view indicating ring shows at a glance that the unit is on.

The housing is 100% corrosion resistant, and the system carries a two year limited warranty. This is the 120V, two lamp model, part number 004-422-2022-00.
