Read the whole model number off the pump before ordering an impeller, because the letter after SHP or PHP changes it. In Jandy's Stealth parts list an SHPF1.0 and an SHPM1.5 take the same R0807202 kit, as do an SHPF1.5 and an SHPM2.0. The FloPro and VS FloPro use their own body, lid and impellers, while the ePump is built on the Stealth's body, lid and backplate. Jandy lists the 5/8 inch R0479400 shaft seal for all of them.

Which Stealth do you have?

The model is on the label: SHPF is full rated and SHPM max rated, then the horsepower. A -2 after it, as in SHPF1.0-2, is the two speed, with the same impeller.

About Jandy Stealth, PlusHP & FloPro Pump Parts

Parts for Jandy's Pro Series pumps, made by Zodiac: the Stealth (SHPF and SHPM), PlusHP (PHPF and PHPM), MaxHP (MHPM), FloPro (FHPM), VS FloPro and ePump, plus the WaterFeature and WaterFall pumps that share their parts. Impeller kits by horsepower, diffusers, mechanical seals, backplate kits, pump bodies, lids with locking rings, baskets, lid seals, unions and tailpieces, nearly all of them Jandy's own, with a SuperPro seal kit and a U.S. Seal shaft seal as the alternatives.

Which impeller kit fits my Jandy Stealth SHPF or SHPM pump?

Match the full model number to Jandy's list, because each M model shares a kit with the F model a step smaller. R0807203 fits an SHPF.75 and an SHPM1.0, R0807202 an SHPF1.0 and an SHPM1.5, R0807201 an SHPF1.5 and an SHPM2.0, and R0807200 an SHPF2.0 and an SHPM2.5. Where Jandy lists a two speed -2 version, it takes the same kit as the single speed of that number. R0807205 is the SHPF3.0 kit, and every Stealth from .50 to 3.0 uses the R0445400 diffuser.

Why is my Jandy Stealth leaking water between the motor and the pump body?

Jandy's manual puts that down to a damaged or failed mechanical seal. Its current Stealth, PlusHP, FloPro and ePump manuals give one seal for every size, the 5/8 inch R0479400, and the R0445200 backplate kit includes it. The 13/16 inch R0445500 is listed here for Stealth pumps with a serial number before P08FF0001, so read the serial before ordering. The U.S. Seal PS-4231-OS is a generic 5/8 inch alternative.

Why are there air bubbles in my Jandy pump basket?

Air is getting into the system. Jandy's checklist: make sure the pool is at its normal level, then take off the lid, clear any debris from the lid o-ring seat and check the lid seal sits the right way; on a PlusHP the side with two ribs goes into the groove. Tighten the lid by hand, no tools. If bubbles remain, clean and refit both union o-rings on the suction side. Lid seals are R0446200 for the Stealth and ePump and R0449100 for the PlusHP and MaxHP; the FloPro lid o-ring is R0480200.

Which impeller and diffuser fit a Jandy FloPro or VS FloPro?

The FloPro takes impellers by horsepower: R0479602 for the 1 HP and the 1 HP two speed, R0479603 for 1.5 HP, R0479604 for 2 HP and R0479605 for 2.5 HP, with the R0479702 diffuser up to 1 HP and R0479701 from 1.5 HP. For the VS FloPro, Jandy lists the 0.85 HP VSFHP085 with R0479602 and R0479702, and the 1.65 HP VSFHP165 with R0479603 and R0479701. The Stealth and PlusHP use a different impeller series.

What base does a Jandy FloPro need to replace a Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro or Dura-Glas?

The small base it comes with plus the large base spacer, R0546400, which Jandy sells separately. Jandy's manual sets the FloPro's height by the pump it replaces: no base for a Hayward Super Pump, Pentair SuperFlo or Sta-Rite SuperMax; the small base for a Hayward Super II or a Jandy PlusHP or MaxHP; the small base with spacers for a Pentair WhisperFlo or Sta-Rite Dyna-Glas; and both bases for a Max-E-Pro, Max-E-Glas, Dura-Glas or Dura-Glas II.
