Product details

The Hayward SP1023S is a wall return fitting for pools plumbed in 1-1/2 in. PVC. The back side of the fitting carries no thread, so the pipe is glued directly into it as a slip connection.

What comes with it

The fitting arrives with its gaskets and lock ring, which is the whole set needed to seat it in the wall and seal it. That matters on a rebuild, because a fitting that seals on tired gaskets is the usual reason a return weeps behind the liner or the wall.

Where it goes

This is on the return side of the system, the point where filtered water re-enters the pool. If you are replacing a cracked or leaking return, match the connection first: this one is slip, not threaded.
