Product details

The Pentair 714000070 is the CO2 kit for IntelliChem, supplied with the diffuser, the solenoid and the regulator in one part number. It is the hardware that lets a CO2 tank be used to bring pH down.

How the pieces work together

The regulator mounts to the CO2 tank and drops the supply to a controlled pressure. The solenoid is the valve in the line, so the CO2 flows only when it is called for rather than bleeding continuously. The diffuser is the end of the run, where the gas actually enters the water.

Before you order

The kit assumes a CO2 tank. Pentair is explicit that it must be used with CO2 tanks to lower pH levels, so make sure the tank and its supply are sorted out as part of the same job.
