What the UltraFlex 2 valve does
The UltraFlex 2 is an electric 8 port valve, the only one of its kind on the market. Eight ports and electric actuation are what let it move a large volume of cleaning water through a pool, which is why it turns up on bigger pools and on pools that also have to feed several water features.
When to replace the controller
The controller is the part that decides when the valve steps from one port to the next. When it fails, the valve stalls or skips, and the symptom on the pool side is uneven cleaning: some zones run all the time while others go dry. Fitting the factory kit puts the sequencing back the way it was designed.
