Pentair 270514Z is the rebuild kit for the FullFloXF backwash valve. It is the genuine Pentair part, matched to that valve rather than a universal seal assortment.

Rebuild rather than replace

A backwash valve that no longer seals cleanly does not usually need a whole new assembly. The wear is in the parts this kit covers, and refreshing them puts the valve back into service for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Check the hard parts too

While the valve is open, look at the diverters and the end cap. Pentair lists the center, inlet and outlet diverters and the end cap under their own part numbers, so a cracked or badly worn one can be ordered alongside this kit. Have o-ring lubricant ready for reassembly; it is not included here.
