Product details

This is the Caretaker Ultraflex 2 face seal o-ring, the seal that sits at the face of the Jandy and Zodiac 8 port valve. It is a genuine Caretaker OEM part.

The symptom it fixes

An 8 port valve is supposed to step around the outlets and dwell on each one long enough to drive the heads it feeds. When the face seal wears, pressure bleeds past instead of loading up on the selected port, and the valve stops pausing where it should. Owners usually notice this as heads that barely pop up, or as a valve that never seems to settle on an outlet.
