Product details

The Hayward SPX0720P2 is a Teflon ball valve seal, sold as a set of 2, made for Hayward SP0720, SP0730 and SP0735 ball valves.

What it does

The Teflon seal sits against the ball inside the valve body and forms the sealing surface that lets the valve shut off flow completely when closed. Because it is Teflon rather than a rubber compound, it holds its shape and keeps sealing as the valve is turned repeatedly.

Fit and compatibility

The SPX0720P2 is built for the Hayward SP0720, SP0730 and SP0735 ball valve models, and may fit other Hayward valve models as well. It measures 1-7/8 in. outside diameter, 1-1/2 in. inside diameter, and 3/16 in. front to back, so it can be checked against the seal being replaced.
