Product details

The CMP 25831-120-100 is the internal assembly for the 261165 P-style slide valve body. It is the set of moving parts that sit inside the valve and do the sealing work.

What it fixes

A slide valve that will not shut off cleanly, or that passes water when it should be closed, has usually worn on the inside rather than at the body. The body is glued into the plumbing and is the expensive thing to change, so replacing the internals is the normal repair.
