The Hayward PSXCVBAH is the replacement cover and flapper kit for the Hayward PSV check valve. It is the genuine Hayward part, also listed as PSXCVBA.

What it does

The flapper is the moving part of a check valve, and the cover is what holds it in the body. Replacing both puts the valve back to holding one way flow without cutting the valve body out of the plumbing.

When to order it

When water runs backward through the valve after the pump stops, or the flapper no longer seats cleanly.
