The Hayward CX1390REM is the genuine replacement filter cartridge for the C6060, the filter sold as the Blue Haven 520. The C6060 takes four of them.

Buy the set

Four cartridges share the load in this filter. Putting one new element in alongside three worn ones sends most of the dirt to the new cartridge and shortens its life, so replacing the full set at once is the normal approach unless a single cartridge has been physically damaged.

These cartridges are built with Microban antimicrobial technology in the material, intended to slow bacterial growth within the element.

Knowing when they are finished

Cartridges do not fail suddenly. Watch the pressure gauge: when a thorough clean no longer brings pressure back to where it started, or the gap between cleans keeps shrinking, the elements have reached the end of their service life.
