The Century SQ1102 is a full rated square flange pool pump motor, 1 HP output at 3450 rpm with a 1.65 service factor, wired for either 115 or 230 volts on a 48Y frame.
Build
It uses sealed ball bearings at both ends and a 303 stainless steel shaft, in a capacitor start, open dripproof design with automatic thermal protection. The frame is rolled steel with a round mount, and the motor is built to the UL 1081 design and CSA certified. Rated efficiency is 55.2 percent and the duty rating is continuous.

Compare the nameplate on your old motor for horsepower, service factor, frame and shaft, since the same wet end was sold behind several motor ratings. While the pump is apart, replace the shaft seal. A leaking seal is what drowns most pool motors, and it is the cheapest part of the job.
