Product details

The Zodiac R0525600 is the rear body panel for the Baracuda MX8 and the Zodiac MX8 Elite suction pool cleaners. It is the genuine OEM panel, the same one fitted at the factory.

What the panel does

The MX8 drives itself around the pool with an internal gear train, and the body panels are the shell that keeps sand, leaf stem and grit away from it. When a panel cracks, usually from a hard knock against a step or from years of UV, the crack tends to spread through the mounting posts and the panel starts working loose. From there debris finds its way inside and the cleaner starts running rough.

Before you order

This is the rear panel only. The front panel carries a different part number, so identify which end of the cleaner is damaged first. If the old screws are corroded, replace those at the same time rather than fighting them twice.
