What a personality card does

IntelliCenter is built from a main board plus a personality card. The main board does the processing and the switching. The personality card tells the system what it is: how many circuits it manages and what equipment configuration it is set up for. This card is the i8PS version, and it connects to the i5P main board.

Replacement or upgrade

Fit it to replace a failed i8PS card, or to move an existing system up to the i8PS build. Kill power at the breaker before opening the load center, and handle the board by its edges, since circuit boards are sensitive to static discharge.
