Product details

The Pentair 522010Z is the in-line strainer filter for IntelliChem chemical controller systems, with 1/4 inch FNPT connections on both ends. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What it does

IntelliChem reads a small stream of pool water and decides from those readings when to feed acid or sanitizer. The strainer sits in that line and keeps grit and debris out of it. Clean sample water means the probes read the water rather than the dirt sitting on them.

Fitting and service

It plumbs straight into the 1/4 inch line, no bracket required. A strainer is a serviceable part: open it, clear what it has caught, and put it back. Replace it when the body or the seal will no longer hold.

What is not included

This is the strainer alone. The IntelliChem pH and ORP sensors are separate Pentair parts.
