Product details

The Pentair 622000080Z is a 1/4 in. ball valve with an MNPT end and an FNPT end, used with the IntelliChem water chemical controller. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Where it sits

IntelliChem lives on a small plumbing loop of its own. A quarter inch ball valve on that loop is what lets you shut a line without touching the rest of the system, which matters every time a sensor comes out or a feed line is cleared.

When to replace it

Chemistry is hard on small valves. When the handle no longer turns cleanly, the stem weeps, or the valve will not shut all the way off, replace it. Fitting the OEM part keeps the thread sizes exactly as the controller expects them.
