Why the cable matters
A pH probe produces a very small electrical signal, and the controller acts on it directly. That makes the cable more than a piece of wire. Cuts in the jacket, a kinked run or corrosion at the connector all show up the same way: readings that drift, jump or refuse to settle after calibration, and a controller that doses on bad information.
Before you order
This listing replaces the cable, not the probe. If the sensor itself has aged past calibration you need the pH sensor as well. The ORP side of IntelliChem uses its own separate parts.
