Millivolt heaters
Millivolt heaters have no electrical supply of their own to speak of, so the pilot end of the system carries more weight than it does on an electronic ignition heater. When the pilot is fouled, damaged or will no longer hold a flame, the heater simply will not come up.
Before you order
Confirm two things. First, that the heater burns natural gas, since this pilot is not the propane version. Second, that it is a millivolt control heater, not an electronic ignition model. The pilot generator, which is a separate assembly, is worth checking at the same time.
