The Raypak 019142 is the E3T ELS-R-0018-4-TI electric pool and spa heater, rated 18kW on 480 volt three phase power. It heats without gas, so there is no flue, no combustion air and no gas run to the pad.
Built for pool water
The heating elements are titanium and the body is stainless steel. That combination is what lets Raypak rate the E3T for extreme pool water conditions, salt water chlorinated pools included, where lesser materials give up early.
Controls
The heater uses a solid state design with flow sensor technology, and the front panel is digital with diagnostics. When something is off, the display tells you what it sees instead of leaving the tech to work it out from the outside.
Installation
The cabinet is compact, which matters most on replacement work where the pad layout is already fixed. It suits new construction equally well. Three phase 480 volt service is required, so confirm the available supply before ordering.
