Product details
The Raypak 019143 is the E3T ELS-R-0024-3-TI, a 24kW electric pool and spa heater running on 208 volt three phase power. It is the current generation of the E3T electric range.
Built for the water it sits in
The heating elements are titanium and the construction is stainless steel. That combination is the reason to choose an electric heater like this one for a salt chlorinated pool: the elements sit directly in water that would attack lesser materials, and titanium does not care. The same holds for pools running aggressive chemistry for other reasons.
Control and safety
The unit uses a solid-state design with flow sensor technology, so it knows whether water is actually moving before it energizes. Controls are digital and include diagnostics, which turns a fault from a guessing exercise into a readable code.
Sizing and installation
This is the three phase configuration at 208 volts, so the electrical service is the first thing to confirm. The cabinet is compact, which is what makes it practical for both new construction and dropping into the space an older heater vacated.
