Product details

The Hayward Salt and Swim SAS-ABG is a salt chlorine generator made for above ground pools up to 23,000 gallons. It produces chlorine from salt dissolved in the pool water, so the pool sanitizes itself while the pump runs instead of you carrying jugs and buckets to it.

Why owners switch

Hayward puts the chlorine cost savings at 50 percent or more. The water also feels softer, easier on hair and skin than a pool that gets dosed by hand, and the chlorine level stays steady rather than spiking after each dose and fading before the next.

Keeping it running

When the cell eventually wears out, the Salt and Swim 3C replacement cell drops in and the rest of the system stays put.
