The Waterway Hi-Flo II SD-10-2-N is a two speed above ground pool pump rated at 1 THP, supplied with a 3 ft NEMA cord.

Why two speeds

A single speed pump runs flat out whenever it runs. A two speed pump lets you turn the water over on low, which is quieter and cheaper, then step up to high speed for the jobs that actually need flow: vacuuming, backwashing, or bringing cloudy water back after a storm.

Installation

The 3 ft NEMA cord comes on the pump, so it plugs into an outlet rather than needing a hard wired connection at the pad. Check that the plumbing and the electrical supply at your pool match the pump before you order.
