The Hayward TBB1015CPEG is a true union ball valve built to Hayward commercial specifications, in gray PVC.

What it does

As a ball valve, it opens and closes flow through a line. Because it is a true union design, both ends have union nuts, which lets the valve body be unscrewed and removed from the pipeline for service or replacement without cutting the surrounding pipe, saving time on future repairs to this section of plumbing.

Fit and compatibility

One end is a 1-1/2 in. slip connection and the other is a 1-1/2 in. threaded connection, so it can join a solvent welded line on one side to a threaded fitting on the other. The valve is rated for pressures up to 225 psi and is built to Hayward commercial specifications, ahead of typical residential valve ratings.
