Product details

The Skimlite R16C is a 16 inch fine mesh leaf rake with a rake style pocket frame, built from 304 stainless steel and spring steel with a solid aluminum handle fitting.

Frame and net

Skimlite has built its skimmer nets and leaf rakes since 1954 by combining 304 stainless steel with plated spring steel, attached to a solid aluminum handle socket. On the R16C, that frame carries a 16 inch fine mesh pocket sized for fine debris as well as leaves.

Fit and sizing

The rake style pocket frame is offered in more than one depth. The R16C is the 16 inch fine mesh version, alongside deeper and shallower pocket sizes and round and square frame styles in the same family, so check the depth marked on your current net before ordering a replacement.

Care and repair

A protective vinyl tubing wraps the frame and takes the wear from contact with the pool wall and steps. It can be replaced on its own when it wears through. The netting and stainless steel frame itself are rescreened at the factory rather than repaired in the field.
