Product details

The Pentair 195829 is the genuine two inch drain plug, listed with the Sea Horse stainless and Sea Horse FG cartridge filter parts. It is molded plastic, the same as the original.

Small part, real job

The drain plug closes the low point on the filter tank. It comes out every time the tank is drained for cleaning or for winter, and it is the part most likely to go missing between seasons or to get cross threaded going back in. A plug that no longer seats drips steadily and can let air into the system.

Before you order

Confirm the drain port on your tank is the 2 inch size, since Pentair uses more than one across its filter families. If the sealing o-ring or washer on your old plug is flattened or torn, replace that at the same time.
