Product details

The Jandy 4724 is a two port Neverlube diverter valve with a positive seal, sized for a 1-1/2 inch internal port and a 2 inch external port. The body is CPVC.

What Neverlube changes

Older diverter valves ask for the stem to be pulled and greased on a schedule, and the ones that get skipped are the ones that start to seep. The Neverlube design removes that job from the maintenance list, so the valve is fitted and then left alone.

Where a two port valve goes

A 2-way diverter opens and closes a single line, or hands flow between two paths depending on how it is plumbed. This is the standard version, so it has no internal stops limiting the handle travel.

Why CPVC

CPVC takes both the chemistry and the temperature range that pool plumbing sees, which is what keeps a valve body from cracking or going brittle where it sits in the sun at the pad.
