The Skimlite S8C is an 8 inch square pocket skimmer net built from 304 stainless steel and spring steel, with a solid aluminum handle fitting.

Frame and net

Skimlite has built its skimmer nets since 1954 by combining 304 stainless steel with plated spring steel on a solid aluminum handle socket. The S8C uses that frame in a square shape with an 8 inch pocket, sized for everyday skimming of leaves and debris.

Frame styles and sizing

The same net depths are offered in round, square and rake style frames. The S8C is the square, 8 inch version, alongside 4 inch square nets, 10 inch rake style pockets and 16 inch rakes in the same family, so match the depth and frame shape of your current net before ordering.

Care and repair

A protective vinyl tubing wraps the frame and absorbs the wear from contact with pool walls and steps. It can be replaced on its own when it wears through, while the netting and stainless steel frame are rescreened at the factory.
