Product details
Sta-Rite 27002-0030S is the replacement DE filter module for the System:2 modular D.E. PLD50, with 30 square feet of filtration area. It is the OEM part and arrives as a complete module.
What the module does
On a System:2 modular filter, the module is the whole filtering element. Water is driven through it on the way back to the pool, and the DE coating that does the fine work sits on its surface. When the fabric tears, the frame collapses or the module will simply no longer clean up, the filter stops holding pressure or clarity and nothing done to the rest of the system will fix it.
Getting the size right
Modules are sold by square footage and they are not interchangeable. This is the 30 square foot version for the PLD50. The PLD70 and PLDE36 take a 36 square foot module under its own part number, so read the model from the label on the tank before ordering.
