The Hayward DCX105C is the genuine diaphragm cassette assembly for the DV5000 pool cleaner. It is a new OEM part, supplied complete.
Why it wears out
A suction cleaner has no motor. The diaphragm flexes with every pulse of suction and that flexing is what drives the cleaner across the floor, hour after hour. Over seasons the rubber hardens, stretches or splits, and the cleaner slows down, stalls in corners or simply parks itself while the pump still pulls water. Nothing else in the cleaner works harder.
Fitting
The cassette is supplied as a complete assembly, so it drops into the cleaner body in place of the old one with nothing to rebuild or carry across. Hayward lists DCX105C alongside the KingRay cleaner parts range.
