Product details

The Pentair T40FNB is the vanishing edge version of the Pentair autofill, finished in almond. It keeps the water at a set level automatically, using a Fluidmaster float valve to open and close the fill line.

Why a vanishing edge pool needs its own unit

A negative edge pool loses water over the wall into a catch basin, and the level that matters is the one in that basin. This model is built for that arrangement rather than for a standard pool wall, so match the version to the pool before you order.

Mechanical, not electrical

The Fluidmaster valve works on float position alone. As the level drops the valve opens, and it shuts again once the water is back up, with no controller, sensor or power feed involved. If the valve itself wears out, the float valve assembly is a separate part, so the whole autofill does not have to be replaced.
