Product details

The Pentair R172514 is the 50 square foot RTL50 Dynamic Series II top load cartridge filter, built with 1-1/2 inch threaded plumbing fittings for spa and hot tub systems.

What it does

Water enters through the 1-1/2 inch FPT threaded ports and passes through the cartridge media, which the filter accesses from the top of the housing for cleaning. It is rated for a 100 gallon per minute flow rate, and the 50 square foot cartridge area gives it enough surface for typical spa and hot tub circulation systems.

Fit and compatibility

Dynamic Series filters are built with heat resistant materials suited to the higher water temperatures of spa and hot tub use. The complete unit has an 18 inch overall height and connects through 1-1/2 inch FPT threaded fittings rather than slip or glue joints.
