Product details

The Sta-Rite 25010-0007 is the air bleed tube for the Posi-Flo II PTM50 and PTM70 cartridge filters. It is the genuine Sta-Rite part.

What it does

Air collects at the top of a filter tank every time the system is opened or the water level drops. The bleed tube is the path that air takes to reach the relief valve on the lid. Open the valve, the air goes up the tube and out, water follows, and the filter is purged. Without an intact tube, you can hold the relief valve open all day and still have air trapped in the tank.
