Product details

The Pentair 070428Z is the clamp bolt for Purex and PacFab Nautilus Plus stainless DE filters. It is the genuine Pentair part, listed at 1/4 in 20 x 3-1/2 in.

What it does

Stainless DE filter tanks are made in two halves held together by a clamp ring, and the bolt is what draws that ring tight. It lives outdoors, wet, for years, so it corrodes and stretches. A bolt that no longer pulls the band down evenly leaves the tank seeping at the seam, and forcing a tired bolt is how the band gets damaged as well.

The part is listed for the Purex 2000 series stainless DE filters, models SMBW 2024, 2036, 2048, 2060 and 2072 along with 1018, 1027, 1036, 1045 and 1054, and for the Pentair PacFab Nautilus Plus INS DE models INS24, INS36 and INS48.
